While it's important to provide top-notch service and expertise, your business won't grow if you don't have a steady stream of new clients coming through your door. Here are some tips for gaining more clients as an esthetician, whether you're new to the industry or trying to broaden your clientele list.

It's no secret we live in a time where having a professional online presence is crucial for any business, including estheticians. Make sure you have a professional website that showcases your services. Think of this as your online pamphlet where you can immediately inform new visitors of pricing, and contact information. You should also be active on social media platforms where you can find serious people interested in the services you offer but just don't know you exist... yet, like Instagram and Facebook to engage with potential clients and showcase your work.

Everyone loves a good deal, so consider offering specials and discounts to entice new clients to try your services. You could offer a discount on a first-time visit or a package deal for multiple services, you'll be extremely surprised at how many people are interested in paying for packages if it means they'll save $!

You could offer a discount or free service to clients who refer new business to you. You can also do loyalty programs which encourage your existing clients to be consistent by rewarding them on their "x" number of visits! I have implemented both into my business and my clients are obsessed with the loyalty cards!

Partnering with other businesses in your community can also be a great way to gain new clients. For example, you could partner with a beauty professional who compliments what you offer without offering the same thing, your clients and theirs could benefit from both beauty businesses.

Providing exceptional customer service is key to retaining current clients and gaining new ones. Make sure to go above and beyond to make your clients feel valued and appreciated.

This will not only help you provide better service to your clients, but it will also make you more attractive to potential clients.
